I’m a junior attending Parsons School of Design for fashion in the collection pathway, with a great focus on textile and materiality as a medium. I see fashion as a language, giving me the ability to storytell about my connections to culture and identity as a woman and creative. By taking the time to learn craft and slowly create garments, I have made pieces that stand as an archive of my experiences and emotions. The projects contained in this portfolio show skills of technique, such as pattern making, sewing, technical drawing, photography, and the importance that memory, textile manipulation/art, and intentional design have to me.
